St. Thomas, Ontario - Members of the community joined Tatum Blackwell during Tatum’s 3rd Annual Walk for Hope on Saturday, October 24th at St. Joseph’s Catholic High School. Joe Preston, Member of Parliament joined over 60 walkers to support Tatum and her family to heighten awareness of Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).
EB, is the name of a rare group of genetic skin disorders causing blistering and shearing of the skin from even the gentlest friction and sometimes spontaneously. Tatum, age 7, was born with this rare condition.
Preston has been working with Natalie Blackwell, Tatum’s mother, bringing awareness of this disease to other Members of Parliament and Health Canada.
