EML receives $240,140 in funding for canada summer jobs

Joe Preston, MP announced that 53 organizations in Elgin-Middlesex-London  will be receiving funding under the Canada Summer Jobs program this year.

Funding will be provided for 89 positions totaling $240, 140 including Kettle Creek Conservation Authority, West Elgin Community Health Centre and Pearce Williams.

“A summer job for a student is an asset to both the community organization and the employee" Preston said” during a time of global economic uncertainty it is even more critical to provide these employment opportunities.”
