Letter to Membership
December 02, 2008

Two months ago, Canadians elected the Prime Minister with a strengthened mandate to address the global crisis.  Now, a Socialist-Separatist-driven coalition is attempting to overturn the results of the last election and impose a Prime Minister that Canadians rejected.

Canadians are faced with a situation here in Ottawa that most do not understand.

The people said Mr Dion was not their choice for Prime Minister by recording the lowest vote total ever for the Liberal party.

The Conservative Government has set in place a steady and stable long term stimulus plan of tax cuts and protection of seniors’ retirement savings. We must ensure that we are ready to help industries in need, but only when the plan they are following is known to us, and makes sense to the taxpayers of Canada, it is their money.

In the meantime, we have invested in the EDC, the BDC and the Canadian Banks to ensure credit is available to our suffering industries. We have also moved the date of the Budget to January 27th, making it the earliest budget ever tabled.

I will continue to work here in Ottawa with our ‘elected’ Prime Minister to improve the economy. However, I do need all your help back home working hard to ensure this government stays in charge of this country’s finances. We cannot allow these parties to go through the back door and change what the electors told them they wanted on election night. We can not have the separatist Bloc Quebecois dictating the terms of the next government.

Canada needs your help now more than ever. Please tell your friends, call a radio show, write a letter, do all you can to show your support to this government and show your distrust of the separatist party and the other parties trying to take power.
