St. Thomas, Ontario - Over 40 new and future Canadian Citizens gathered at the St. Thomas YWCA to celebrate National Citizenship Week.

Members of the community, YWCA Resettlement Counsellors and Joe Preston, MP joined together to celebrate and acknowledge those individuals who chose to be Canadians.

Preston led the group in the National Anthem and spoke to the group focusing on volunteerism and giving back to the community.
